Return to Work with Confidence

The programme that enables returning mums to thrive.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth

85% of women leave the full-time workforce within 3 years of having children. They cite a lack of flexibility and experiences of micro-aggressions in the workplace and being passed over for promotion as reasons why they leave.

Introduce your brand

Providing the training, development and support structures that women need to return to work is an investment in the sustainability of your organisation.

Why? Because engaging and retaining your female talent and supporting them into leadership is far more cost-effective and delivers higher returns than constantly re-hiring.

How Return to Work with Confidence will boost performance and increase retention

Improved communication

Support your working mums with the tools to confidently communicate what tehy want their post-maternity career to look like. The thing is, you can’t read her mind. Even if you’ve worked together for years.

She needs the tools to identify what questions to ask and what support she might need. This proactive approach improves engagement, productivity and longer-term employee retention

Positive collaboration

Time for you both to move away from a ‘them’ vs ‘you’ mindset. Open, honest and positive conversations will help you to both understand each other’s position and move towards arrangements that work for everyone.

Gaining confidence and a collaborative mindset will help her to approach flexible work requests with an open mindset while demonstrating a pragmatic understanding of what the business can actually deliver.

Increased diversity and inclusion

Gaining a deeper understanding of the changes and challenges related to the maternity transition will help you effectively support the working mums in your business.

Providing meaningful support through empathetic leadership and women-led training inspires increased engagement and performance and in turn, enhanced productivity.

Long-term profitability

Showing new and existing female employees that you truly care about creating a culture of inclusion, diversity and belonging positions you as a company for long-term career growth.

Holding on to and attracting fresh new female talent in turn generates increased business investment

What the course covers

Chapter 2 - Reconnect to your professional identity

Returning mums often fear that a fulfilling career AND motherhood is just not an option. This chapter dispels that myth and instead brings their strengths and skills back into the limelight.

We’ll reflect on the undeniable value they bring - both as an experienced professional and as a Mum with a whole new set of transferable skills. Focusing on the work that aligns most with their desires and ambitions for the future will reignite their confidence and sense of professional self beyond motherhood.

Chapter 1 - Reconnect to you

It’s important to recognise and celebrate the life-changing transition working mums are going through. We’ll embrace that change. We’ll then reflect on what really matters to them as they transition back to work.

Reconnecting with their values, their new version of success and what’s truly important to them will give them the confidence and clarity they need to make decisions that align with the personal and professional priorites.

Chapter 4 - Shape your role for performance

Chapter 5 - Plan your first month back

Chapter 3 - Get foundations in place at home
